Air Conditioner Tune Up Includes:

• Fire off Air Conditioner unit and (if applicable) furnace to verify operation.
• Check filter.
• Replace thermostat batteries and correct time/day.
• Check amperage draws on compressor.
• Check amperage draws on outdoor fan motor.
• Record refrigerant pressures – high and low sides.
• Record sub cool of the refrigerant circuit to verify proper charge.
• Record indoor temperature difference.
• Check contactor for excessive pitting, arching, or scorching.
• Check capacitor(s) to confirm if they are in-range.
• Check and tighten wiring connections in outdoor unit.
• Clean service access panel in outdoor unit.
• Lightly clean debris from in/around unit (significant accumulation requires full maintenance).
• Reapply power to the unit to check in-rush amperage draw upon startup.
• Rinse out condensing coil (chemical cleaning requires full maintenance).

Furnace Tune Up Includes:

• Fire off furnace and (if applicable) Air Conditioner to verify operation.
• Check filter.
• Replace thermostat batteries and/or correct time/day.
• Clear out pressure switch port.
• Check amperage draws on Indoor Blower Motor.
• Check amperage draws on Induced Draft Motor (if applicable).
• Check capacitor(s) to confirm if they are in-range.
• Measure resistance on hot surface igniter (if applicable).
• Record indoor temperature difference.
• Light cleaning on exterior & interior of unit (detailed cleaning required full maintenance).
• Check and tighten all wiring connections on indoor unit.
• Blow out and treat condensation lines (if accessible).
• Verify no “burnt” marks on front or back of circuit board.
